Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the General Admission ticket price?

Each ticket grants entry for one person at least 21 years of age to the venue where world-class distillers will be pouring an impressive selection of whisky tastings. Attendees will receive a commemorative Glencairn whisky glass and a tasting notes booklet. (NOTE: Shuttle transportation available for purchase separately.)

Is shuttle transportation available?

Shuttle transportation is available for an additional $30 per person, and includes scheduled roundtrip door-to-door transportation from the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal to/from The Manor House. Shuttle space is limited, reserve early! (NOTE: Shuttle schedules will be provided in advance of the event, and will only accommodate specific ferry sailing times on the Bainbridge Island/Seattle route before and after the event.)

Will food or other drink options be provided?

Food will be provided, including small plates created especially for this event by the Manor House’s chef, along with a fresh oyster bar provided by Puget Sound Restoration Fund. A cash bar will be available.

How do I get to the event?

Bainbridge Island is accessible by ferry (walk-on or drive-on) or driving. From Seattle, the most direct route is via the Washington State Ferry. If you’re coming from the north or south of Seattle, you can drive to the Kitsap Peninsula and then onto Bainbridge Island via the Agate Pass Bridge.

Note that car and ferry traffic can be delayed during peak travel times. To avoid a rush, we recommend arriving to the island early and enjoying all that Bainbridge has to offer before making your way to the event. Downtown Winslow features a variety of local boutiques and eateries — perfect for exploring and grabbing a bite. The Manor House is located in Pleasant Beach Village, a charming and walkable community to enjoy both before and after the event.

Is parking available at the event?

Parking is available at Pleasant Beach Village at no charge, but may be limited. Carpooling is encouraged. An additional Shuttle Transportation option is available as a $30 add-on service at checkout, but note that space is limited.

Where can I find the shuttle schedule?

Shuttle timing is dependent on the Washington State Department of Transportation sailing schedule for the Bainbridge Island/Seattle route. If you have purchased Shuttle Transportation, the event organizer will reach out to you in mid-September with details on the shuttle schedule and logistics.

What is the suggested attire?

Suggested attire is casual nice. Tastings will be held both inside and outside under a heated tent, rain or shine.

I’m not drinking, but serving as a designated driver. Can I attend the event for free?

Unfortunately, guests who are not drinking, cannot attend without charge, as there is a limited capacity at the venue. Thank you for understanding!
