We have several joyful events throughout the year celebrating our region's amazing resources and benefitting the ongoing work we do.

Our Signature Annual Events

Alki Oyster Fest

We are so pleased to be the beneficiaries of the most excellent Alki Oyster Fest on Alki Beach. This year – the third annual – is bigger and better than ever, with delicious oysters from some of our favorite growers: Hama Hama, Baywater Shellfish Company, Taylor Shellfish and Chelsea Farms.

Complement your dish with a frosty microbrew or wine by the glass from our partners, West Seattle Brewing Company, Alki Beach Pub and Harry’s Beach House.

Tickets include: Eight oysters, two drink tickets, and live music by local musicians at all venues.

Admission is $45, and free for kids 12 and under.  Find tickets here!

Oyster New Year

Thank you to all who joined us at Elliott’s Oyster House this November 2nd, 2019 for Oyster New Year, where we celebrated the annual return of the peak shellfish season! As the cloudy, cool fall weather moves into the Puget Sound region, the icy north Pacific Ocean current entices shellfish to come into their prime, developing a crisp, firm texture and clean taste characteristics.

We ate and drank to our stomach’s content at the sell-out event and the biggest oyster party on the West Coast! 30+ varieties of local oysters were shucked to order at the 150-foot oyster bar, plus a fresh seafood buffet, live music and more.  All proceeds benefited Puget Sound Restoration Fund.  Look for tickets to the 2020 event to go on sale next summer, and until then, slurp up!

Walrus & Carpenter

Hosted by Taylor Shellfish Farms as a benefit Puget Sound Restoration Fund, the Walrus & Carpenter picnics provide the ultimate oyster-eating experience.

The nighttime, low tide picnic takes place by lantern and moonlight in Taylor’s Totten Inlet oyster bed. Icy gusts of wind off the bay will invigorate your experience. Take a shucking lesson before dining on these plump, sweet oysters just rousted from their beds. Devour the freshly opened delicacies paired with award-wining “oyster wines” by Browne Family Vineyards and Gruet NV Sauvage served in sparkling Reidel stemware. The perfect blend of magic and madness. As the tide rises, revel in a blazing bonfire awaiting you on the beach and savor a steaming cup of chowder. This is an experience not to be missed.  All proceeds for these unique events benefit Puget Sound Restoration Fund.

Sold out! Tickets have been snatched up for both the January 9 and February 6 2020 Walrus & Carpenter Picnics. If you missed out in 2020, we hope to see you in 2021!

Vodka & Oysters at The Distillery

Look for the Vodka & Oysters at The Distillery event in 2020, hosted by Bainbridge Organic Distillers.  It will be a wonderful afternoon sampling local oysters and craft vodka cocktails. In addition to raw oyster service, we serve oysters off the grill with lemon, garlic and a touch of red pepper flake and deep fried oysters are the starring ingredient in a hearty chowder.

Puget Sound Restoration Fund will once again provide oysters for the event, including our native Port Madison Petites, raised right on the shores of Bainbridge Island.

All proceeds benefit Puget Sound Restoration Fund.  Check back here or at Bainbridge Organic Distillers events page for this great event in 2020!

Whiskies for Wildlife

We’ve set the date for the 10th Annual Whiskies For Wildlife event, presented by Bainbridge Organic Distillers. Join us on September 26th, 2020 for this divine event featuring more than 225 Scottish single malt whiskies and world-class single malt, grain, blended and antique whiskies from Scotland, Ireland, Japan, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Taiwan, the United States of America and more.  This event always sells out, so look to nab tickets first week of July 2020.

Get ready for sumptuous small plates devised for the event by the Manor House’s Executive Chef to complement the whiskey offerings and served at several stations throughout the hall and patio overlooking beautiful Rich Passage. It will be an afternoon to remember! And all proceeds benefit Puget Sound Restoration Fund, for which we are so grateful.
