We’re hiring!

Marine Science Intern (Veterans Conservation Corps Internship): Puget Sound Restoration Fund and NOAA are pleased to host an intern for 6 months through the NOAA Washington Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Conservation Corps Fisheries Internship Program. The intern will have a broad suite of responsibilities with PSRF at the Kenneth Kenneth K. Chew Center for Shellfish Research and Restoration (Chew Center) that PSRF operates at NOAA’s Manchester Research Station on the Kitsap Peninsula. This is a full-time, paid opportunity, to start in February 2022. Please peruse the position description here. Learn more about the Veterans Conservation Corps program here. And, of course, share far and wide!

If you’re looking for other opportunities, perhaps some of these pique your interest:

  • Summer internships: We often offer one paid summer internship each year, which we begin recruiting for in the springtime. We have decided not to host an intern in 2021, but anticipate being able to do so in 2022!
  • Longer-term internships: We also are pleased to host 6-month to 1-year internships through NOAA’s Veterans Conservation Corps (VCC) and Washington Department of Ecology’s Conservation Corps (WCC) programs. Look for us to post the WCC position in summer and see the VCC position posted above.
  • Graduate students: PSRF has had many fruitful collaborations with graduate students over the years. Please reach out to us if you have research ideas that fit into any of our program areas!

Thank you so much for exploring ways to join our team!
