2025 Seed Sale Date Announced! Pre-Order Forms Available Now!

PSRF’s 2025 Annual Seed Sale will be held June 14th, 2025 from 8-11 am!  This coincides with a good low tide in the late morning for planting.

LOCATION:  Puget Sound Restoration Fund office, 8001 NE Day Road W., Bainbridge Island.  Pick up will be as in the past, a drive through with scheduled times for your pickup.  You will receive an email with your time closer to the sale date.  **All seed must be picked up at the seed sale as PSRF cannot be responsible for holding seed.**

Oyster seed is sold by weight – a 1-liter bag has approximately 300-500 oysters/bag, depending on size of the oysters.

DETAILS:  Please be sure to specify on the order form the physical location of where your seed will be planted (either the street address or parcel/lot number).  There is a reason for this requirement is because when you purchase seed from PSRF, you will be covered under our transfer permit – and we can provide your seed with a clean bill of health!  The seed that we provide is purchased from a State-certified source: Taylor Shellfish Farms.  Just to provide a little background for why this is; Seed should never be purchased from uncertified sources since it can potentially introduce disease and/or organisms into our local waters.  For example, oysters purchased from a grocery store should never be put out on the beach.  If the shellfish comes from out of state, or even another basin within the state, this could inadvertently cause problems.

DEADLINE:  We need to receive your orders by June 1st.  We will only be accepting pre-orders and payment, so plan ahead! Click HERE for a PDF of our order form or order online (see below for detailed instructions).  If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email Wendy Welch at 206.550.8667 or events@restorationfund.org.

We look forward to seeing you!
